Dr. Ashu Mehta graduated from Ross University with Honors in 1997. During his residency at Luthern General Hospital, he was selected Intern of the Year in May 1998, received the Program Director's Award in June 2000, and served as Chief Resident from June 2000 - July 2001. As an intern, his fellow physicians voted him as the physician they would most want to care for their family members.
Dr. Mehta finished his Rheumatology fellowship at George Washington University in 2003. He worked in a rheumatology practice in the Baltimore area prior to opening his own practice in 2005. He has received several awards: Top Docs in Annapolis, and the Patient Choice Awards numerous years in a row. He is board certified in Rheumatology and Internal Medicine.
Tina Wilkerson graduated in 1996 from the College of Southern Maryland with an Associate Degree in Nursing. In 2014, she completed her Bachelor of Science Degree from Drexel University School of Nursing. She currently holds certification in Oncology for the administration of chemotherapy and biotherapy medications. She has practiced in the field of Rheumatology since 2007 as the infusion nurse with Dr. Mehta.
